Thunder Bay, Ontario hard rock powerhouse The Christopher Knowles Project has posted their brand new single online titled "Nothing Left To Hide". The crushing song appears on the just released new album "The Cure For Insanity". The follow-up to the band's 2006 release "Devil In The Detail", "The Cure For Insanity" delivers a massive wallop of scorched-out rock. The cd exhibits the sound of a band injecting a slammin' groove into its wide musical palette. The music dovetails its blend of raw-power, tripped out rock and cascading guitars on songs like "Whose Side Are You On Anyway" and the crunching "Inmates Are Taking Over", with the more deliberate side of the band emerging in the bruising "Walking On Broken Glass" and the slow-boil of "Halo's Dropping Like Flies".
Christopher is an award winning songwriter/multi instrumentalist and producer playing well over 500 gigs across Canada in the bands Rival, Stiff Upper Lip, Zero Gravity and Hunter. A recent gig at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium was a particular career highlight.
The bands 4th CD titled "Devil In the Detail" was released in Dec. 2006. The album is littered with layers of heavy guitars and strings providing a variety of ear candy under a blanket of strong songwriting and musicianship. Our song "Elvis Has Left the Building" from the band's 3rd cd "Rhyme of the Century" recently placed Top Ten in the SongPrize International songwriting competition and the band has songs in the 2006 award winning movie "Chasing Mascots" and the title track in the 2007 movie "G8".
