Story behind the song
I wrote this song after I got back from a mission trip in Nebraska. The trip opened my eyes to what God wanted from me and this song is a vow not to be slack in my walk with Him.
Lyrics
Jesus help me take a stand, Lord, help me to leave the pieces where they land. All they do is slow me down, I need no distractions to follow you around. You were stretching forth Your hand, When I was sinking, sinking in quicksand. I know my time to shine is now, No, not later, to you I make this vow.... Chorus: My feet are Yours as I walk this earth as I tell the world of Your glory, These words I speak to them of belief of the power and truth of Your story... ...I just hope they listen..... The world is fading fast, We need to hold on to something that will last. God's promise to us all, Is that he will save us if on His Son's name we'll call. Just seek and you will find, The love of a Savior who healed the dumb and blind. He's still alive today, Receive Him in your heart so you can boldly say. Chorus Bridge No more lackluster days on my end sweet Savior (x8) Chorus
