Story behind the song
Hot To Trot is one of my most favorite jams to play. I played this jam on my 1991 Fender USA Strat. I don't think I could have chose a better axe to use! The backing track is one from Jasper Mills. I jammed this instrumental playing to that backing track coming out of my speakers and a head set on for my guitar. (Mickey Mouse but that was all I had at the time). I played only one take and as you hear it is exactly how that one take came out to sound. No additions and no tricks baby, just straight out jammin'. I recorded this track in 2002 just prior to the Nashville Sessions with the Blues AllStars. Do you dig Hot To Trot? Let Me Know!
