People are trying to run away from God. This is just one man's running away.

The bright lights and the night life was the only thing I knew. Then someone told me of Jesus. I didn't want what He could do. Even though I knew He could change me, change I didn't need. I held on to the bottle, And let the drugs devour me. The street lights had a power. The neon signs a pull. But street lights and neon signs were branding me a fool. " I would hear a still small voice telling me what I should do." But still I would run away and I ran straight into you. CH.... In my running away I ran straight into you. I was trying to get away. I wouldn't listen to the truth. My reckless life was a danger. I had proved it a time or two. In my running away, Lord, I ran straight into you. " The drugs had controlled me. My body was wearing thin. The bottle had taken my family. I was a sad shape of a man. I was helpless. I was worthless. My dreams like scattered sand." And among the street of neon signs you could never find a friend. " Then I gave my life to Jesus. Cause on the cross, He died for me. To this day, I get excited, about a place called Calvary.
