Lyrics
TIME TO FACE THE GODS Tis time for an adventure, Time to go against the odds, A challange like I ner had before, It is time to face the gods, I take off on my white stallion, With his feet so firm and sure, Majestic strong and gallent, No beast could give me more, Fire marks our passing by, Set by our blazing speed, No force can ere defeat me, Whilst mounted on such a steed, We charge in to the Devil's Wood, Where the Demon beasts do lie, We shall not shrink from our task, For we would rather die, We search for them on the highest hill, And in the deepest cave, We round them up before us, And push them forward in a wave, So many times they try to break, We battle them back in to the mob, Never is there time for rest, Not until we end this job, But with backing from the stallions hooves, They cower from my flashing sword, The Demon Beasts are beaten, No more will the people fear this hoard, Then from up ahead me Dad calls out, I slip from the grey geldings roached up back, To close the dairy gate behind, The cows I brought in from off the flat.
