My Phantom Digital Orchestra lives in my computer and I am (on a good day) composer-in-residence, just a servant of the Muse...
I write symphonic, small ensemble and choral music, in multiple styles from medieval through modern classical. The music you hear on my pages is created with Finale notation software and Garritan Personal Orchestra sound samples. All pieces have a traditional score associated with them; if you are interested in any piece for possible performance, please contact me for details on scoring, instrumentation, pricing, etc. Recent Concert: I enjoy many kinds of music for listening - rock, pop, jazz, world, and classical of all periods. I am interested also in the fusion of art, poetry, dance, video, and ritual with music, music as a healing force and have been a music volunteer in the hospice setting.

Story behind the song
Jesus is entering into Jerusalem and the people greet him with great honor, waving palms. They have great, perhaps unrealistic hopes that he is going to just make everything the way they want it... they greet him as a king, a savior, a messiah. And a week later, all have abandoned him and he is crucified. (See the song Gethsemane).
Lyrics
Raise the palm leaves high O people of Jerusalem Raise the cry of your long-awited hope! On a donkey's back rides the Prince of Love, the Prince of Peace, Praise His name, sing Alleluia! Let your joyfyl singing welcome God in human form, Long-awaited, hope re-kindled, life renewed, One of us He comes, Man-in-God and God-in-Man Praise His name, sing Alleluia! Palms! Palms! We come to You with Palms! Praise You with instruments and psalms. Bells ring! New wine flows! Stones sing, and we'll follow where you go: Though your path be hard we'll stand by you Our King and Savior, all You do is for the cause of righteousness, renew our land! the people bless with prosperity and happiness! (ding dong, ding dong, Alleluia, alleluia, Sing Hosanna!)
