Story behind the song
I grew up in the ghettos of East Los Angeles and was involved in gangs as a youth. I was mainly searching for a place to belong since I had a troubled home life. The first verse discusses why I always wondered how some of my homies could shoot and kill people for such stupid reasons. The second verse offers some question and answers as to why and ultimately concludes what currently scientic evidence shows which is that people to bad things becuase of a combination of nature and nuture, not either/or.

Nurture written by PRoCLaiM (sorry I only have the second verse) Im a product of this and a product of my parents which has more influence, its not obvious apparent if one may be good, you can escape from the other if both taken under, then you just might not recover you'll be fucked for life, thinkin violence is right beating on your wife, probably touchin on your kids cuz they did this shit to you, you dont see whats wrong with it such a vicious cycle, going back to Freuds thought back to the sweat shop, 3rd world here they try to get pearls, all trying to be some cover girls thinking image is the best tell that shit to cancer victims, less one breast why do people kill, causing other people pain is it part of evolution ----or part of human brain or is selfishness because were wanting everything either way it aint cool, Ive seen violence since two I thought it wrong, and yes I still do even though went kind of crazy and banged a couple years its funny how come back to the things you hold dear they try to pump with you fear, say bin ladens gonna get'cha what about the crooked cops, muthafuck ann al qaeda we got problems right here, like why do white kids in the suburbs shoot up schools every year didnt they have nice parents and a nice hometown its nature versus nurture, trying to get that first down
