Since beginning as a backing vocalist in pop & funk cover bands in the 1980's, Emma Hutchinson has written songs for UK a capella group Sweet Soul Sisters, started her own Hammond organ blues band and fronted the Emma Hutchinson Quintet playing new arrangements of great jazz standards. Her new band, called simply "Emma Hutchinson", features all-original material written by herself. Described as jazzy soul, the songs are a mixture of wistful soul ballads, laid-back latin grooves and melodic funk.

Story behind the song
Some people notice the beauty of nature wherever they are, whether it's a spider's web in a city garden or a dusty flower growing out of the sidewalk. This song is about someone I knew who was like that.
