Story behind the song
Hello, all my friends!!
This is the whole story about FARAWAY.
As you know, FARAWAY is done. Among the all seven tunes I'm going to put in the CD album, what more suitable tune to be done first than to this tune.
Actually I wrote the tune when I was 23. The title has remained the same as I thought it is the perfect title for this worldwide collaboration. The biggest difference between the new and the old FARAWAY is the fact that my respectable & talented friends, Roger and Khaled joined in the project.
I rearranged the tune for the three of us who have different styles of guitar play so that each of us can express our own characteristics.
Since I was new at MTR and this was my first collaboration work through the Internet, I gave them a lot of trouble. I deeply appreciate their patience and great play from the bottom of my heart.
Roger, Khaled and I have never met each other in person. However, we have done a remarkable work through Myspace by heading toward the goal and overcoming some problems. I'm very proud of what we have achieved. I'm very happy and honored to have played with them.
