At the end of 2006 the band Hocksaw decided to split up after a couple of years due to the different musical tastes. The guitarist Fabry joined the gothic rock band Tearsfall while the other three members started from the scratch a new project called Agony Way (composed by Diego on vocals, Poli on bass/backing vocals and Andrea aka Mario Rossi on drums) writing songs since the first day of rehearsals. Even without a guitarist, in May 2007 they booked some days at Sub Mix Pro Studio with the aim of recording their five best songs for an EP called "Warning Agony Way" (the guitars were recorded by Poli). Just a week after the realisation of the cd they found the fourth member Umberto as guitar player, who gave the band a stronger punk rock style. After a year the band was ready to record his debut album called "For Rent" but the guitarist left the band and so Mauri replaced him. The record is coming out on January 2009.
