A bit political this one, so how do I describe it? A lot of guitars doing lots of different things? A bit of a funky beat? You decide, and let me know!

Story behind the song
I am not religious, but the pope JOhn Paul II dying, and Benedictus taking over left a few people wondering where the Catholic Church would take its influence. "The death of only one man could go and change it all." We are normally secure in our own world, making our own judgements about the world with our own small group of friends - welcome in the Judgement Inn And when that changes? I tend to think it has already.
Lyrics
Sitting with our friends We hoped that life could not be better The man said that our dinner’s set Upon the old veranda And I never want to change this place Or the smile it leaves upon your face Where ever else we’ve ever been We’re welcome at the Judgment Inn Telling tales of battles That we’d fight before were older The dynasties we’d conquer With some idealistic fervour And we’d shout our names across the sand United in our little band And shelter from reality Safe inside the Judgment Inn Sitting here on my own I know that life is always moving Sitting here all alone I know the good times are a changing Give me a little time And I will write another poem Give me a little freedom And I’ll sing of my homecoming Payment of the lawyers Will not prove who’s really sinning If you’re looking to lay out some guilt It’s a pretty bad beginning And you’ll never ever end the game Till you find another god to blame Just wrap your dreams up in the wind And hide them in the Judgment Inn Blinded by the headlines The writing’s on the wall The death of only one man Could go and change it all And we never used to cry like this Of fear the endless dark abyss ‘Cos where ever else we’d ever been We were welcomed at the Judgment Inn Sitting here drinking hard I see that life is all delusion Agendas in the papers Make us spin in our confusion Give me a little time And I will shout another poem Give me a little freedom And I’ll play at your homecoming
