The Caravan. The other band...
The Caravan is a kind of fusion band from the Netherlands. We play many kinds of fusion, e.g. John Scofield, Steps Ahead, Booker T. and the MG's, but also 'real' jazz as Dave Brubeck and Joe Henderson. We play also music from Focus - in fact also a kind of fusion. The styles we play are: funk (John Scofield), fusion (Steps Ahead), blues (Booker T. and the MG's), jazz (Dave Brubeck) and progressive rock (Focus).

Story behind the song
We knew this song from Focus, and discovered when we played with a singer at our school, called Sylvia. We thought: wasn't that a nice tune from Focus? And we found out the song and learnt it to play. It became a great hit among our (older) teachers who still knew that music from Focus. With the whole band we visited a concert from Focus on 27 January 2007 in Café de Lantaarn in Hellendoorn (NL).
