Watson's recording career began with EMI at the Abbey Road studios in London. He subsequently recorded on many well known labels such as Bell and Decca. One record entitled "Some Lovin" is still selling well in America today. Some of us may remember his song "I'm on the road again" which was a hit. He has lived in Tel Aviv, Germany and also in Italy where he recorded the song "I get lifted". Watson is happy to return to the UK in the further pursuit of his musical career. Watson T. Browne is a British artist who is now permanently resident in the U.K. after a long and successful recording career in Europe. The CD the Best of Watson T Browne has been released this year and comprises both original songs and covers. Watson’s "Searching for a Star" has been re-released on yet another compilation CD. In fact, since its original recording, this song has been re-released on eight compilation CDs with featured artists such as Malcolm McDonald, Sting, Take That and Quincy Jones.
