I'm a woman on a journey. I've learned much on the path and have been moved to write songs about my lessons, thoughts, musings and things that came my way. Some will touch your heart and soul while others will make you laugh; with me, at me and your own self.

Story behind the song
Don & I were sitting out back at my house just strummin' our guitars. He started with the first few lines ...Sittin' by the barbecue, how'd I ever get to you, Do you think I'll find my way home? Gazin' underneath the tree......I added, "Likin' how you look at me, we're pickin' strings and writin' this poem". Then he added, "Thumb it follows eagerly, pinky trips in harmony, seems they never do go wrong. Middle one is standin' tall, ringman's waitin' for his call, but everyone is singin' this song. Then I wrote the chorus........We're all singing one song We're all singing the very same song Oh it's just one song So come on everybody come sing along Then I wrote the rest of the song later........... We had lots of fun writing the only song we ever wrote together.
Lyrics
1. Sittin' by the barbecue, how'd I ever get to you? Do you think I'll find my way home? Gazin' underneath the tree , likin' how you look at me We're pickin' strings and writin' this poem". Thumb it follows eagerly Pinky trips in harmony Seems they never do go wrong. Middle one is standin' tall, ringman's waitin' for his call, But everybody's singin' one song. Chorus: We're all singing one song We're all singing the very same song Oh it's just one song So come on everybody sing right along (2x) 2. Hangin' out into the night, knowin' that the world's alright The shadow's layin' over your eyes But still we sing a sing-along, 'cause nothin' ever can go wrong As long as we decide to harmonize Chorus: 3. So now you sing this song with me, I really love the harmony We could share this song all day through You can sing the melody, remember how it used to be When singin' songs was all we had to do! Chorus:
