      Tu restes loin, tu ne viens pas me secourir malgré toutes mes plaintes.

    
    3 Mon Dieu, le jour, j'appelle, mais tu ne réponds pas.
      La nuit, je crie, sans trouver de repos.

    
    4 Pourtant, tu es le Saint
      qui sièges sur ton trône, au milieu des louanges d'Israël.

    
    5 En toi déjà, nos pères se confiaient,
      oui, ils comptaient sur toi, et tu les délivrais.

    
    6 Lorsqu'ils criaient à toi, ils étaient délivrés,
      lorsqu'ils comptaient sur toi, ils n'étaient pas déçus.
