Story behind the song
I was sitting at my dining room table one beautiful summer afternoon with guitar in hand. My three year old son was playing and walking around the table as I was strumming out a melody I had been working on. I told my wife that I liked the melody but I had no idea what to do lyrically. Just then my son looked up at me with the cutest smile and said, "it sure is a lucky day today daddy." That was it. I said I'll call this song "Lucky Day' and with in an hour or so it was finished.
