Inspired on a poem by Emily Dickinson 'Come slowly, Eden! lips unused to thee, Bashful, sip thy jasmines, As the fainting bee, Reaching late his flower, Round her chamber hums, Counts his nectars --enters, And is lost in balms! '

You show great craft in this piece. The muted trumpet is very effective and symbolic. The choral work is excellent. Very good part writing and excellent use of the choir to shift the mood from the bee. I love the shifting modulation of this. It gives since of rising and falling as if one were the bee. Excellent choice of poetry. Bravo Luis!
