It's just me. I've been around the world soaking up the vibes but I write to document the world around me. I'm influenced by psychedelic, folk-rock, poetry, documentaries, country-rock, old country, indie bands, and you. Story behind the song
While living abroad in Bulgaria I wrote a song describing problems with communication. It is psychedelic song with a "Chalga" surprise at the end with sample of Ivana's - Tova E Parcheto.
Lyrics
I walk around the town To see what’s around. The people sit in cafes And all I say is “hey” Then I ride the bus To the center for some lunch. I order some Tsatsa And some Zagorka beer. Chorus Breaking the language barrier is hard. Almost as hard as the sound barrier. I listen to the people talk. Wish I could respond. Later I will know more. Enough to open the door. Now I’ll take it in. That’s the way to begin. It will be easier After awhile. Chorus Breaking the language barrier is hard. Almost as hard as the sound barrier. I’ll move around the town. So that I’ll be found. It’s just a start. It’ll be my part.
