Folk punk with a pop punk edge.
I started this sometime in 2004, but I didn't do anything with it until November 2006. I write songs about anything. Some of them aren't true, and some of them are my feelings about some, more or less, political issues.

Story behind the song
This is a song about a dream I really had. I always beat Derica when we play Halo 2 ( a game which I am addicted too). I've never played Becca at Halo 2, so I don't know why she was in the dream. It probably had something to do with her trying to get me to do her homework for her. I was having none of that.
Lyrics
Videogames Eventually Take Over Your Dreams G A We all like to dream. It’s why we like to go to sleep. We can eat some ice cream after we’ve spent time counting sheep. G A Then there was the one the other night. D G A Everyone I knew was in that room (the one inside my mind). D And there was a lot of food to be consumed. And then we were all playing my favorite game, And we all had our own TVs. Everyone I knew was quickly yelling my name As I took them out in groups of twos and threes. Then, instead of playing from a screen, I was seeing out of my own eyes. Then there was a flash of green, and the attacker soon met her demise. Sorry Derica, but that’s the way it goes. It’s happened before, and it’ll happen again. It’s what happens to my foes. I do what it takes to win. I won’t spare anyone unless they happen to be on my team. It doesn’t matter that it’s all for fun. I did what it took to be supreme. But I heard the cock of a gun and I slowly turned around. I said, “What the fuck? How’ve I been outdone?” Luckily, I wasn’t yet down and out. So I pulled out my sword and said, “Show yourself!” Out walked Becca and her shotgun. I knew she only had two shells, but the battle had already begun. For some reason I didn’t kill her right away. I don’t know why I had to hesitate. I soon said, “Hey,” and we proceeded to debate. We went back and forth, just waiting for the other to quit. I told her I’d do her report, but she didn’t think I was being legit. A G We were both standing there pretty much at a draw. D G And we were both fully aware while hoping for the other to withdraw. But then a grenade came in, and it blew us both to bits. I couldn’t believe that I didn’t win, but I guess that’s what I get. A G D I jumped out of my bed, and turned off the alarm on my phone. Luckily, I wasn’t dead, but who had won was still unknown.
