The problem is, we are unsure of which drinking fountain is closer to the classroom so in order to find out we need to have an expirement testing our hypothesis and procedure.
Hypothesis- If we measure the distance to the water fountains than we know which one is closer.
Procedure- I measured the distance using the floor tiles by counting each tile that i stepped on while i was walking towards the water fountain. Than i re-counted the tiles on the way back to confirm that i had the same result. Than i comparred data with my partner to figure out which of the two fountains was closer. According to the meter stick each tile is 30 1/2 centi-meter. So i multiply the amount of tiles i stepped on by 30 1/2 to figure out the distance. After i recieved the answer i compared the two distances.

Left Length 97 x 30 1/2 = 2958.5 Centi-Meters
Right Length 105 x 30 1/2 = 3002.5 Centi-Meters
So accordin to the data, the results show that the left path is 2958.5 centi-meters while the right path is 3002.5 centi-meters. So the data shows that the left path is shorter than the right path by 244 centi-meters.

I believe one of my biggest problems would have to be my strong sense of procrastination. I believe i'm a
good writer but because I procrastinate so heavily none of my grades are rightfully what they could or should be.
So to improve this im going to start focusing on my work and make sure i keep a solid schedule so i have time
to do all my work correctly and on time. I believe if I do this than i shall have better grades as well as conquer
my problem of procrastination.
Another one of my goals would have to be organization in my writing. I tend to have so many complex
thoughts in my writing that they sometimes tend to get jumbled around. Also i do not write a rough draft so in order
to be a better writer and in order to organize better im going to have to arange my writing around better as well
as write a rough draft whenever i write my essays and other types of writing assignments.
A goal that i can easily accomplish would be to keep a track of all my assingnments in seperate folders
and have individual notebooks for classes instead of last year i had one notebook and no folders. So if i keep
a track of my school work than i believe it will help me on my procrastination goal as well because than i will know
exaclty where my work is and what it is.
My language use is good in mine and others opinions but nothing is ever perfect so i would like to improve
on my wording as well as my vocabulary use in order to become a better writer in school and in general. In order to
do this im going to broaden my vocabulary and have other read my writings in order to get their opinion on what is
the best way to word a phrase with possibly additions to vocabulary terms.
Conventions is another thing im going to work on this upcoming year because my spelling and grammer
isn't the best so I would like to improve on that so i do not have any errors in my writing. In order to get better im
going to have someone proof-read my writings in order for them to figure out any errors in the writing as well
i'm going to practice writing so over time my own writing shall improve and the errors will naturally decrease.
