Story behind the song
RoXi3 and I wrote this together the second week we knew each other in Sept of 2005.In October 2006 I was given a few beats by BodybagZ and there was one I was instantly hooked to.I had to record this poem (which was new for me at the time,I wrote poetry all threw 2006 to try something a lil different) with this beat and have it on my first album.I added the very last lil verse "Another epidemic-Im left with skeletons-Epileptic"...in December of 2006 right before we recorded the original version at BodybagZ pad.We also changed the chorus right then too.We hooked up with this SIC ass producer in South Tucson,CatFishBurns.We are now working our asses off to complete my album.I scratched what I had of the whole album and started from new with CatFish.Youll find this song on my album,"under EvoLs wing" late this year. Alot of people wonder what the song is about.And until I added that last little verse,some had NO CLUE what it was about.They thought it was a normal horrorcore song,from a horrorcore emcee.I dont believe so with this song.Its not about anyone.Its about drug addiction.In particular,my addiction with methamphetamines from Sept2005-Nov2006.It was short but sick.Not SIC...but sickaning.Im not a preacher,Im not a tweeker basher.Everyone is entitled to live their own lives but Ive lived this shit first hand.I lost EVERYTHING.Litterally.Except my actual breathing,and even then there were a few close calls.I was homeless,with nothing and no one,and addicted to slamming anything I could get.Meth progressed to other things.And miraculously I stopped.I knew I was almost done being a junkie.I wasnt even me anymore.I couldnt do shit with my music.I didnt look or even sound like me.I went on one last binge and overdosed.I had never OD'd on meth before.Surprisingly.Thats all it took.Being unable to function totally while your life slips slowly...I dont know if Ill never do it again,but I know I wont ever ingest any drug intraveinously again.Ill be lost forever.I was allowing the Darkness to Invade me and my soul during that time.Thats what this songs all about.
