In this mostly male school, Cerissa surpassed 99% of her male peers in her class and maintained a 90 grade from a Vocational Class of Carpentry where she was bestowed the Nathan Mastel Memorial award for carpentry and received an Endorsed Diploma in carpentry. A natural performer, Cerissa worked with a handful of rap groups during the late 1990s, including Brothers Under Major Stress (BUM’s), The Opposites, ESP, Natural Kauses and Revolutionary Solders. Cerissa attended Metropolitan College of New York, where she studied Human Services and earned her Bachelor Degree.
