Story behind the song
I recorded four songs at Mad Oak Studios for a class project at Harvard Extension School. I asked Joel Simches to play bass, and my regular drummer, Matt Burns to play drums. In a twelve hour session we recorded the four songs, three of which were used for the project. This song was the sound check. It was recorded in one take, with no overdubs. I was quite happy with the results, especially since it was unrehearsed and done on the spot.
