Story behind the song
I have spent many years developing my technique including mid-air finger exercises. My goal has been to make each finger strong and independent and working together much like the pistons in an engine. Much of the improvisation in this song is played not as individual notes but as a flow of notes. At times a stream of 30 notes or more will end up exactly on a note that I felt and anticipated before the run started.
