somebody take me home 2/9/07 © m. skliar I’ve been tempted by temptation torn the fabric of my fabrication got off at the wrong train station believed in ‘location, location, location’ but inspiration, is my final destination somebody take me home I’ve been disheveled and disgruntled can’t I be sheveled and grunted would rather agree then be confronted Id rather be hunting then be hunted I’d rather do a stunt then feel like I was stunted somebody take me home I tell myself I’m cool, but I’m in the shallow end of the pool if the waters got deep , I hope I can swim it’s a complicated tale, I’m in the belly of the whale sometimes I see the light, sometimes it’s so dim I sometimes keep it all hid, sometimes do what they all did battle my ego with my id when life gets serious, I kid I’m not smart enough to be so stupid somebody take me home I may not know what exists may have blown a chance at bliss may have blown my last kiss but before I reminisce I must insist on telling you this somebody take me home
