it's sunday morning and i haven't slept because i've been up all night staring at code that wouldn't work. the thing just wouldn't compile, and the error messages were particularly unuseful. in addition the problem would cause me to have to reboot supercollider everytime it gave me the error. so i'd save the thing and close everything down. i have been building a native recording interface for my synths in sc. eventually i believe this may culminate in a daw that i have hand designed to work for particle synthesis. but this error message. i spent hours trying to hack it and finally, finally, it started working. the next thing i know, i'm blasting band limited impulses with convolved grains and feverishly cutting up pictures of asparagus.
