STEVEN WEBB SINGER SONGWRITER MUSIC PRODUCTION Steven Webb is a singer songwriter currently residing in Windsor, Connecticut. The music and sounds of the 60’s were major influences in his early years. He performed with several bands in the US and in Europe until a series of life events resulted in his musical ambitions being placed on hold. In 2004 he began writing songs again and performing locally. He also began assembling a project studio and recording other local musicians. One of them was Jason Winnie, whose stellar guitar performance during his recording sessions has resulted in a collaboration in the studio that has been creative and exciting. An EP of five songs was released in the fall of 2006 and Steven continues working to compile enough material for a full length CD. Listen Enjoy Tell your friends.

Story behind the song
This song speaks to those who tried but found it just wouldn't work... This is an older song of mine that I only recently recorded.
Lyrics
So how’ve you been since we last said ‘hello’? Time has its way of changing faces You’re not the girl I used to know You’ve let your world fall to pieces You must have seen a lot of crying in your time Well, so have I… I always felt that we would meet again When all the trying times were over The games we played were games you never win And arguing still gets us nowhere We both have seen a lot of crying in our time Look at us now… Oh, so much to say and yet so many words remain unspoken How it broke my heart each time you turned away Remember… How we said good-byeI never meant to cause such pain I’m sorry Still I don’t regret the day we first met… Two lonely people in their afternoon Sharing a drink of time or two Lost in dreams of days that passed too soon Of friends and places we both knew You must have seen a lot of crying in your time Well, so have I… © 2006 Steven L Webb
