Hello - I'm Bobby Nichols. I'm a singer/songwriter/musician/performer. Right now I'm trying to hone my skills as a songwriter while trying to maintain everything else. I live in Northeastern Wisconsin because I was born and raised here. It gets cold in the winter, but not real hot in the summer. There is anything that can bite you and kill you, and there aren't really any natural disasters to speak of. It is my dream to make it into the fold and be able to make enough money from songwriting where I could live a decent life without starving. This way I could be successful and still be able to stay out of the tabloids.

This one was inspired by a picture I saw on a bubblegum wrapper.
Lyrics
Sandcastles Bobby Nichols I. I look up to the sky on a summer’s day The sun in my eyes; let it take me away I heard you talking, but didn’t hear what you said I guess I must have let the clouds get to my head II. And looking at children turning sand into castles Building on dreams until the tide comes in The water is waiting… anticipating And turns their castles into sand again and again Chorus: And I’ll be walking on the water while you’re waiting on the sand I said I’d always be there for you – You’ve got to try to understand That I think I might have offered more than I could ever give you I never want to see your castles turn to sand III. A drop of rain falling like a tear drops from heaven Affecting all within its tiny space Another tear drops, and soon heaven is crying And more and more little grains of sand fall out of place Chorus: IV. I feel the sun; it’s shinning down on my shoulders And I hear your voice ringing inside my ears I see our future, and I don’t like what it offers I hate to see your castles washed away by tears Chorus: I didn’t mean to let your castles turn to sand
