hurdy gurdy and piano
I am a pianist who also plays hurdy gurdy and I like to combine the two instruments (this is not possible on my own in real time!). Putting chordal piano music against droning gurdy melodies makes for an interesting combination, with or without the rhythmic buzz which has to be used with some care.

Story behind the song
It came about by adding hurdy gurdy to an original piano piece using double-tracking. The first ad lib session was labelled Jam One, hence the name. You'll listen to 80 seconds of piano intro before the gurdy comes in.
