This is a fairly straight ahead rock with a progressive edge being in 6/4 about a kind of stylish fairy tale for how boy meets girl.

Story behind the song
The main riff of this song was originally written months ago when I was just fumbling about on my 12 string acoustic. I thought the part was catchy and recorded it under the name "Strikingly Adorned". I have to name my songs something when saving the file and usually I just pick names out of the wild blue yonder. In most cases the names always seem to fit and this was no exception. The only problem was figuring out lyrics that supported the title... hence the long delay. This is a fairly complete version of the song -some slight changes will probably be added in the near future, but as it is, hopefully you will enjoy it all the same.
Lyrics
Strikingly Adorned by Thomas DeVries 2006 One look, one glance... there's just something about her She's dressed in diamonds and couture She's so beautiful - well, She leaves me so breathless that I loosen my tie Just to get a bit of air Dressed smart and strinkingly adorned With that cheshire's grin apon her face ('cause) She knows that she's all the rage All of our eyes are held in place The fawning masses, buzzing about show that she's sticktly adored But what would you reason why she's alone? Could anyone measure up for her? Beauty She's got Style and class Sparkling eyes dazzle, and blushing bright red as she laughs what an absolute beauty Beauty Miraculasly, she's coming close - her eyes on mine My heart's in my throat, but choacking it down just in time To hear "how do you do' - well, I'm doing just fine Just fine Time flies as we both do our part Leaning in closer and with a start - A smile comes that I just can't resist Suddenly adorned by her kiss Her kiss!
