An experiement with other guys from Dreamsville
Just a few ideas, some very badly recorded but ideas nevertheless.
Story behind the song
I met these two beautiful people along the Thames in Kingston. They are understanding, funny and do not demand anything from me. Anna & Evette, you saved my life when I was at my lowest and I can never thank you enough for that.
Lyrics
The A & E Department
Are they visitors from outer space
Or was it outer London?
With their smiles all over the place
They could have left my innocence undone
So why is there a bra in your back pack?
When clearly you’re built like a flat pack.
Cauldron simple, head on lap
Crisis man with love on tap
When I speak she doesn’t hear me, it’s me who’s mumbling
When she speaks and I don’t hear her, it’s me who’s going deaf again, notice a pattern here?
Teach a new way, not the old
And don’t believe everything you’re told
Cauldron simple, head on lap
Crisis man with love on tap
I thought of you again today and although you’re not a million miles away
You might as well be, body present but mind astray
Bowl me your next over; put me in your slip
Switch off your storm guard, cultivate my pip
My brakes of desire are strong to resist
As the satellite looked down on the girlies getting pissed
Grow these enchanted moments where shadows hang around
And have minds of their own to meet up with me down town
With a life style from the corner shop, though it’s just a token store
I like you both so very much but my heart is spoken for.
Elecute your perception, give a facelift to your voice
And even get new batteries for your coloured throbbing toys.
