Story behind the song

A song I wrote for my daughter when she was 2.  I didn't know she could sing it (sort of) until I punched record when she wanted to play with the mic.  She was almost 3 years old at the time.  She's 13 now, going on 27.  Priceless to me!  I was recording some original songs on an old Tascam 4-track one day, when she came in.  She saw the mic, and she HAD to sing through it.  I was recording this song, so I began playing again.  She just took off singing.  I was blown away.  She fumbled through many of the words, but she had rhythm and stayed on pitch.  I learned right then who had the talent in the family - and it wasn't me.  :)

Well I have been around Soundclick for a long time listening to some pretty fine music and this is one of the best tracks I have listened to.
What a voice ,timing is just sentational and the words and music fabulous.
I realise that the young talented lady has grown up and may be still singing just as well.

Congradulations to Dad Shane for a wonderfully well written and produced track.
