Story behind the song
This one is one of those tunes that I wrote quite quickly, some songs are like that... but it has been laying around in my studio for months waiting to be finished, finally got it done.

Never Gonna Get Over You.
I’m lonely now; nothing ever seems to change,
And it’s been so long, since you ain’t been here.
It’s funny how, no matter what I try to arrange,
Since you’ve been gone, nothing ain’t that clear.
Everyday, I drag around a heavy heart,
Every night, I cry myself to sleep,
That ain’t the way; a new life should start,
Just ain’t right, it should cut so deep.
Now I’m afraid, I ain’t never going to get over you,
And I’m scared I’m never gonna stop these tears.
And it doesn’t seem to matter what I try to do,
Chains of emotion only magnify my fears.
And freedom ain’t as good as it appears to be.
Seems only your love can set me free.
Empty rooms, filled with empty chairs,
Memories in each and every space.
