Sample clip of a cheap Chinese made Squier California series with .11 gauge strings. A bit hard to bend-obvious with some off notes as I was used to .10's before this. A bit nasal with the bridge and middle pickup on but the .11 gauge sounded better
I wanted to make my Chinese made Squier California series sound bigger without adding too many mods as I also did not want to spend much with it. Best solution was to load up on thicker strings.
