Born of a collaborative songwriting effort by long-time friends D. Patrick and Jeff Stephens, The Thieves formed in early 2005 with an impressive catalogue of songs already in place. The pair soon teamed with Vin Aliberto and Josh Boelter and immediately began work on their debut album TBA(Fall 2006). Based in New York City's Lower East Side, the band quickly became active in the local rock scene, seducing audiences with a sound that is nothing short of undeniable.
