Deep, reflective, and thoughtful music. Searching for the deepest core of musical expression.
My name is Kenneth Edward Keyn. I am simply a musician. I strive to understand the deeper things that music has to offer. I am a composer of deep, rich, and expressive music. I am classically trained, but I explore a plethora of genres and styles. I specialize in orchestral, choral, and small ensemble work. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theory and Composition from Warner Pacific College in Portland, Oregon. I am the primary co-composer on the iPhone game Trenches. I am a long standing member of OverClocked ReMix, where I am featured on multiple album releases and individual arrangements.

Story behind the song
This song was written as an entry for the Conceptual Music Competition (CMC 1) on the forums of OverClocked ReMix. The story behind the song is as follows: "Midnight has come and the city is fast asleep. The guards are napping at their posts, unaware of any danger. A lone scout rushes home (0:36) to his family and warns them of a coming attack by raiders from the east (0:52). There is only enough time for him to get his family to safety. Once a fair distance away, they look back at the city (1:26), which seems so peaceful. Within seconds, the walls are breached (2:01) and the city overwhelmed with little resistance. The scout and his family continue into the wilderness (2:34), having survived the devestation."
