Story behind the song
I wrote this song in memory of Barrie Naylor, a dear friend who passed away in 2001 from A.L.S. much too early in life... Barrie was part of the 60's Liverpool scene, in a band called "The Sapphires", who opened for the Beatles' last performance at The Cavern in Aug. '63 http://barrienaylor.2000am.com/
