Story behind the song
This is the first complete song I ever wrote. It was back in 1986 or 87 while stationed in Germany with the U.S. Army. I was in kind of a garage band with some of the guys in my unit, and we played mostly hard rock kinda stuff. They didn't want to play this one because they said it "sounded too country"
