Don’t you worry
Words and Music by Bee Branch
Everybody keeps telling me
They know exactly what I need
It won’t cost much money,
I should go willingly
I’m so sure that what’s ailing me
Can be cured with some herbs
From a magazine
Thank God you came along
Or I’d still be suffering
I’ve got a plan,
Thank you for worrying
I’ve got a plan
Don’t you worry about me.
I saw this fella on TV,
Said he’d pray for my family
For a nominal fee
(The same as the cure
For what’s ailing me)
Then he preached about freedom,
He preached about religion
But what about the freedom to choose
Which religion is mine.
Everybody talks about their dreams
That they don’t have time to follow
Got too many responsibilities,
So why bother dreaming
It will all be here tomorrow
It can wait til then
Well, if you can’t be good to you,
Then let go of me, my friend.
