Story behind the song
The themes are associated with a setting of Sidney Lanier's poem "The Marshes of Glynn", the current (late 2006) on-again off-again project.
Lyrics
Instrumental: no specific lyrics, but the first slow theme is associated with "Glooms of the liveoaks...", the faster dancing themes with the incoming tide in the marshes, and the closing theme with "The tide is in his ecstasy"
