You say, "what am I doing living with some grapes?" "My life's been ruined," you say. Well, I say it's wonderful, when you're always home. Oh, yes, it's marvelous, when you're never alone. You'll find somebody, wherever you roam, being fruitful on that vine.

Verse 2:
My roots are planted firmly in God's Word. Can't take it for granted, oh, haven't you heard? That day is coming like lightning in the sky. A distant drumming, and then the battle cries. Then I'll be glad that I'm in the family; I'll be fighting with the vine.

Verse 3:
My life was misery, but now I sing a brand new song. A song of victory, and you can sing along. What God has started, He will finish to the last. He never parted from us in the past. He'll never leave me, even when I fail; His love is sweeter on that vine!
