Been into this rap thing for 20 years now, listening and studying more than practicing. At 25 years old, I'm finally making moves. Yeah, it's long over due, but it is all in due time. Listening to my songs and checking out my page, people may get the idea that J Malice is a monster or sicko; couldn't be further from the truth. J Malice has a heart and is willing to bet any amount of wealth that it's bigger than anyone who chooses to come through here. Don't judge a book by it's cover. You have to open the pages and read inside if you really want to know about someone.
Lyrics
Now I was told to never turn around and run away/
as I got older, I learned life's serious and none is play/
cats listen to what their guns say cause their heart is silent/
mad violence, prowlers needing ones to slay/
flip on the news once a day, whether Sunday, Monday/
just to hear someone say a mother lost another son or daugher/
why even bother trying to find the perp, it hurts/
the system is structured for em, just ask little JonBenet/
getting away with murder, yo I never surrender/
in my grounds of Louisville, overseas or Denver/
I've got street smarts, keep parts of my ear to the blocks/
and remember, warm blood can quickly turn colder than December/
friends close, but enemies closer is kinda tricky/
cause there comes a time when they're both out to get me/
this emcee faces any challenge out there, not scared/
but never walks into trouble cause everything is risky/
They prey on the weak everyday of the week/
play-by-play, any fashion, they're slaying the weak/
attacking the innocents innocence and ending them/
no safe haven cause they stay on the streets/
though I strive to survive, do my best to keep alive/
depend on three people, myself, me and I/
about time you perpetrating haters out there realize/
my story is never ending cause I "Never Surrender"
Prdeators, permanent Earth embedders/
wanting to shatter my purpose, working berettas/
vendettas forever, lurking in sweaters/
dark clothing, loathing how I know I'm better/
I'll strike like cobras if I have to show ya/
there's no quitting in this rap-game-bred soldier/
as you foes often grow colder and colder/
ya forget some of us are still our own destiny controller/
I'll gladly stand up if ya wanna be starting sh*t/
and prove I wanna test the hearts of men/
ya'll may be able to kidnap and slaughter all them kids/
but there's no getting me, thanks to the all the talks my mama did/
and dad, I call those words of wisdom/
that's why I keep alert cause I see there's perps with hurt in them/
wanting to come at me with worst intentions/
I'm ready, though because the words I chose to listen/
When the going gets rough, Malice just gets tougher/
can't hold me down because I keep pushing upward/
encounter me and there's one thing you have to remember/
I'm the guy who told you ya that he never surrenders
Sunny day, fellas busting raps in the basement/
wanting to play basketball, one asked the other to face him/
it was a fantastic day, but so damn crazy/
cause within a matter of seconds, caps hit the pavement/
city wide manhunt turns up nothing/
slipped down into the cracks, damn punk/
kid only wanted to see if he had the jump/
to put him above the rim for a bad ass dunk/
I've faced scenarios before where I was in doubt of what to do/
not one ounce of thought process was coming through/
consequences , but not without putting up a fight because/
I too can be wild like I was coming out of a zoo/
There comes a time on every single man's road/
where he has to step up and face some outlandish obstacles/
all ya have to do is search the soul to know/
but never ever surrender until the time when you're called to go/
They prey on the weak everyday of the week/
play-by-play, any fashion, they're slaying the weak/
attacking the innocents innocence and ending them/
no safe haven cause they stay on the streets/
though I strive to survive, do my best to keep alive/
depend on three people, myself, me and I/
about time you perpetrating haters out there realize/
my story is never ending cause I "Never Surrender"
