Story behind the song
this is my struggle; this is my gratitude; this is my promise, my vow .. this is my life in just 16 lines. this is my perception of life after surviving a near-fatal freak accident late november of 2004. i escaped the kiss of death and God gave me a second chance. not only that, but a rejuvenated spirit and reconciled perception of life. like a phoenix, this is my rebirth.
