The Chosen Sons take their Quartet-styled vocals and blend them with some contemporary r&b grooves to create a special, spirit-filled, gospel album. The disc also includes a nice bonus from labelmates Soul Soldiers forthcoming (untitled) album. The rap song, On the Throne, adds a bit of variety to the album and emphasizes the title, "Something Good for Everyone". Desi Weems, Sr., is the pastor of the Church of God in Lusby, MD, where the group performs and worships every Friday Night and Sunday Morning. His three sons (Desi Jr. on keyboards, Aaron on Drums, and Thomas on Bass) aid in this musical ministry with the addition of powerful vocals provided by Minister Owen Harrod. "You're the Reason" (track 7) has been receiving much praise and airplay throughout the East Coast.
