The rhythm guitar on this recording was a vintage Guild Starfire III hollow body electric. It has a very full bass sound because of its hollow body. The lead guitar was a G&L Legacy solid body electric guitar recorded in two tracks. The solid body guitar has a faster action (playing ability) for the lead guitar but a higher tonal range than the hollow body guitar. This recording was made on August 28, 2006.
Why Yo Yo Catastrophe? Well, I haven't figured that out yet. Just sounded like a nice name for an instrumental guitar song!
