Artist picture
New/Old school Folk/Rock artist with a flair for poignant melodies and meaningful lyrics.
Thomas Palminteri is a singer/songwriter, composer with a subtle and varied gift for lyrics and melody in the tradition of Paul Simon and Randy Newman. He has written both songs that tell a story such as ïSpring Has Goneï and Waiting for the No.12 and composed instrumental music such as ïJourney to the Black Madonnaï the enigmatic Mass in C that defy categorization. In his teenage years he developed a strong appreciation for Rock music beginning with The Beatles and later became enamored with the more eclectic groups of his adolescence such as the Talking Heads and Elvis Costello. Later in college when he decided to study music more formally Tom became deeply affected by Classical and Jazzï particularly J.S. Bach, Mozart, Faure and Debussy.

Lyrics
November It’s November pull yourself together; don’t try to skip out what we would do without you? Try to remember fleeing from December all those “schools out day” the protective haze. But this is November so try to remember, we know November never stays. Its November pull yourself together, don’t try to look cute no time to play to suits. In September “fashions are forever” but only six weeks then it’s time to hit the streets. Yeah! But this is November so try to remember, we know November never stays. But who is to say that you’re too old to want to go out in the cold, cold November breeze? Who’s to say that you won’t change but will you change in the cold, cold November chill? It’s November pull yourself together; don’t try to skip out what we would do without you? Try to remember fleeing from December all those schools out days but not forever nor too late. But this is November so try to remember, we know November never stays. Never stays, least not today, its November pull yourself together this time. It’s November pull yourself together, this time.
