Story behind the song
I started playing and played for a little under 9 minutes. As I listened to the playback, I immediately heard that, after about 4 and 1/2 minutes, there was a pause, what felt like a "natural ending" -- so I snapped it off there and this is what you will hear here. (Note: I removed a couple of clams [muffed notes] from the original MIDI recording, tightened up the timing on a couple of ragged chords, and moved one note down an octave. I also extended the duration of the last chord by a factor of four to give it that... you know... finished feel.) [NOTE: This was actually recorded on 25 August 2006; the 2008 in the title was a typo that wasn't caught until to late. I guess. You never really know where this stuff comes from.]
