It was cool till we had it 80 times in a row

And soccer was life, or maybe life was soccer
To some, I dunno, either way it was awesome
In a way I kinda regret that I aint play too much
Some of us at first was quiet, we aint say too much
But we opened in time, man we opened our minds
Like we was blind before it all but now we got sight
The first week seemed slow, till it passed and was gone
Then all a sudden it was over, it aint feel too long
The work of reading circles but I know it was worth it
When I heard the words they spoke, honor I didn’t deserve it
We felt the love, the hugs, the livin without drugs
The month is up but we don’t gotta stop with the love

It’s amazing to see how much this project has grown
Four years strong and we’re waiting for more
It’s depressing being back, sittin here in my home
Some of yall know the feelin, man I feel so alone
Feel so high at the project, it’s like gravity stops
Between the deepenings the prayers and the chastity talks
We can’t be stopped, once we’ve set it in motion
It’s so good to see, sit and sense the devotion
I was lovin every bit of the unity rap
Lets not keep it at talk, so come on get up and act
So (Lord prepare me) and gimme the strength
To make it through 11 months I know I’m not by myself
Man it passed so fast that I thought that I missed it
But I stopped and I listened and realized that was it
