Often seen busking for beer money on Aberdeen's Union Street, Rick (The Lugosi) and Dave (Son Henry Band) met whilst (allegedly)studying divinity at Kings College by day and playing in bands at night. They lost touch around ten years ago, when Rick's musical path led him to relocate to London, but, thanks (or no thanks) to Google, reconnected this year. In July, Rick flew back for a few days sunbathing/ wine-drinking/story-telling/chilling. Armed only with laptop and mic, R and D seized the opportunity to record some songs, mostly impromptu arrangements of old and new melodies and lyrics. The result? A cd entitled 'Drive On..' It's spur-of-the-moment, home grown, unrehearsed...
