Okay, actually, this dude I met on teh Intarweb let me use his first-ever song. I said "hey, I'd like to remix that", and he gave me permission. It just took me 3 months to do. And I lost contact with him. Dag, yo. I took his entire song as-is, and just layered my synths directly on top of it. My goal was to make the lead "sing" as much as I could, given a dull, but steady backdrop.
